West Ridge Academy’s Clinical modalities provide individual, family, and group therapy options for adolescents and young adults.

We specialize in Youth and Young Adults

Adolescence and young adulthood bring with them their own set of challenges for many teens. Family connections may become strained as teenagers seek to assert their individuality and personality. Mood disorders and other mental health issues commonly appear for the first time following the onset of puberty. Experimentation or anxiety may accompany the journey of figuring out who you are, resulting in the need for healthier coping skills and additional support.

For this reason, we offer a variety of clinical modalities that fall under (1) Residential Treatment, (2) Day Treatment, and (3) Outpatient Programs.

  • Residential Treatment program is a safe, controlled, and structured live-in program where patients learn to address their mental health challenges in individual, group and family counseling with psychotherapy, cognitive behavioral therapy and interpersonal therapy.
  • Day Treatment program typically gives patients eight hours of programming each day. Day treatment provides a higher level of care than traditional outpatient clinics. Most patients transition to day treatment after being released from their residential programs.
  • Outpatient program is a more independent setting allowing individual, group and family counseling and support.
