Located in West Jordan, Utah, West Ridge Academy began in 1964 as the Utah Boys Ranch. The nonprofit organization quickly became recognized for the positive effects its program had on young men who were struggling academically, emotionally, and socially. Today, the academy has served more than 25,000 families and has expanded its services to include trauma-informed, individualized, Day Treatment and Residential Treatment programs for males ages 9-17 and females ages 9-13.

In addition to our therapeutic programs, we offer fully accredited comprehensive academic services for both day and residential treatment programs so your child can continue their education or get back on track. We offer classes in language arts, science, social studies, math, P.E., art, and music.

We are fully accredited through CARF International, licensed by the Utah Department of Health & Human Servies and our non-public school is fully accredited by Cognia.
