RESIDENTIAL THERAPIST

Nina Pasquarelli

Nina Pasquareli is a Residential Therapist at West Ridge Academy. Nina is from New York where she always had a passion for working with children and adolescence. She has over a decade of experience working with this population through various nonprofit organizations. Nina began her career providing Equine therapy for children with chronic and life-threatening illnesses. This inspired her to work toward her degree as a Child Life Specialist where she worked with children and families in hospital settings to help them cope with the challenges of hospitalization and illness through education and play. Nina has a passion for therapy which led her to earning her Master’s degree in Social Work from Boise State University, Idaho.

The Equine-assisted psychotherapy program is what drew Nina to be therapist at West Ridge Academy. Nina enjoys bringing her passion and expertise of equine and play therapy to the West Ridge Academy residents.

Nina enjoys spending time outdoors with her friends and family. She enjoys camping, backpacking, and exploring the National Parks and diverse recreational areas of the west. Her favorite hobby is training her horse, Mateo.
